STRATEGIC CONSULTANCY

Bloomberg

Act IV has worked with Bloomberg since 1999, initially helping to set up their arts sponsorship programme and then continuing to help implement the programme and advise on all aspects of the company’s relationship with the arts.

We were instrumental in setting up Bloomberg SPACE, a venue for temporary exhibitions in Finsbury Square, establishing the first team of curators and helping SPACE to become one of the most experimental and prolific venues for the commissioning of contemporary art in London.  We worked with Bloomberg on projects at each Venice Biennale and have worked to set up successful relationships with arts institutions and artists all over Europe.

Louis Vuitton

Working with Louis Vuitton for over 6 years, we developed their association with the contemporary art world. Our role involved running a series of talks with artists in the their studios and in museums and galleries, as well as setting up a three year education programme with Tate, Hayward Gallery, Royal Academy, Whitechapel and South London Gallery. In addition we curated exhibitions in the New Bond Street Maison and set up a number of artistic collaborations for the store, as well as advising Louis Vuitton on which exhibitions to sponsor in London and beyond. Notable projects include work with Yayoi Kusama, Grayson Perry, Chris Ofili, Tracey Emin.

Lambeth Council

Act IV collaborated with Lambeth Council and A-I-R to create Future Connected, a values-led leadership development programme designed to support Directors of grassroots and smaller-scale cultural organisations.

Launched as a fully-funded, 12-month initiative, Future Connected provided 12 cultural leaders each year with the tools to build dynamic, community-driven businesses. Throughout the programme, participants gained insights from national and international experts and refined their business models with hands-on guidance. The programme offered a £10,000 prize for the best business plan and £1,000 for all graduates, helping cultural leaders grow businesses that inspired and reflected their communities.
