FOUNDERS


Joyce Hytner OBE
Founder and Adviser
A distinguished fundraiser with a career spanning several decades. Before co-founding Act IV, Joyce was the Head of Development at the Royal Court Theatre and consultant to Granada TV. Joyce previously served on the Boards of The Old Vic, Royal Court and Criterion Theatres, Quintessentially Foundation, Manchester International Festival and The Charterhouse. Her contributions to the arts were recognised in 2004 when she was awarded an OBE.
Previously Head of Development at the Serpentine Gallery for 12 years, where she helped shape innovative partnerships between businesses, artists, and cultural institutions. A trailblazer in arts philanthropy, she played a key role in launching Bloomberg’s arts sponsorship programme and the Louis Vuitton Young Arts Project. Rebecca has also served on the boards of Space Studios, New Contemporaries, and the South London Gallery.
Previously with Dewe Rogerson and Incepta, the international marketing and communications group.
After studying Fine Art, Georgia built a career across interior design and construction project coordination. Most recently, she worked as a Buildings Coordinator for a major high street brand, combining creativity with practical project management.
Former Associate Artist at Rich Mix with a proven track record of delivering sold-out events that connect the creative, academic, and business sectors. She has led and collaborated on high-impact creative and fundraising initiatives, and brings additional expertise as a DJ.

Passionate about building philanthropic resilience, Georgie has been creating fundraising start-ups and fixes for over 25 years - helping 'for impact' organisations to innovate, get ready to fundraise or get back on track. She specialises in identifying the ‘why’ of organisations to create major donor programmes which kick start fundraising.
