ROYAL ACADEMY SCHOOLS
Royal Academy Schools is the only art school in the UK that offers post-graduate fine art courses free of charge to all its students. In order to remain free the Schools is required to raise significant funds throughout the year. Act IV worked with the Royal Academy to set up its first dinner and auction to raise money for the Schools, concentrating specifically on all aspects of the auction, including a preview exhibition at Sotheby’s and smaller events in the build up to expand interest to a wider network of potential bidders. We continued to work with the RA for a further six years, each year devising new, fun and creative ways of raising income over and above the auction activity on the night.
The Royal Academy Schools has raised over £1.5 million over seven years through these events.
