NATIONAL YOUTH THEATRE

The National Youth Theatre of Great Britain is a world-leading youth arts organisation. It was established in 1956 as the first youth theatre in the world and over the past 60 years has nurtured the talent of hundreds of thousands of young people.

Act IV was asked to support NYT on the planning and delivery of their 60th Anniversary Diamond Gala. The work included managing the Diamond Gala Committee; stewarding VIP ticket buyers; managing the partnerships with event sponsors Rosewood London, Belvedere Vodka and Champagne Bollinger; advising on the fundraising elements of the performance; as well as organising the post-performance reception at Rosewood London for VIPs, performers and friends of the National Youth Theatre.

Following this glittering gala celebration of their 60th year, Act IV and the National Youth Theatre joined forces again on the delivery of their 60th Anniversary Reception at Buckingham Palace hosted by HRH The Earl of Wessex. This very special evening for 300 guests included a one-off performance by 40 young NYT members, who included members of the 2016 NYT REP Company.
