GIFT OF LIFE
Since Gift of Life UK was established in 2011 as a sister charity to Podari Zhizn, Act IV have worked alongside the Russian charity which offers hope and practical care to children and young adults whose families cannot afford treatment for cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Annually on Old Russian New Year’s Eve the charity hosts a Gala dinner for their London friends. The evening is always a stylish celebration of Russian culture in London with guests in the past enjoying intimate performances from the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Ronnie Scott’s All-Stars, Katie Melua and Russian ballet stars Sergei Polunin, Natalia Osipova, Dmitry Sobolevsky, Ksenia Ryzhkova and Uliana Lopatkina.
Act IV liaise on ticket sales and guest list, all print and design for external communications including invitations, tickets and programme; oversee all on the night production including AV and performances, co-ordinate the live and silent auctions and create opportunities for further fundraising initiatives.
